Remembering Why I Moved to the Virgin Islands

I love the Virgin Islands

There have been numerous other blogs where I approach this subject. The truth is, I don't have to go back very far to remember why I moved to the Virgin Islands, as I am reminded on a regular basis.

Just last week, Real Solutions hosted an Open House at this Cabrita Point Home: http://stthomasre.com/st-thomas-real-estate/solitude-and-heavenly-views-...

As I was opening the home and getting it ready, it brought me back to my first days on the island. The views that were previously only in my imagination and dreams. The refreshing breezes that couldn't be a more perfect temperature. The waters changing color in the sunlight and clouds. It was just awesome, and I had to sit and stop what I was doing and really take it in.

Because this is what the islands are like. Seriously, take a look at the views from this home. You can see the BVI's and all the islands in between. It almost appears you are sitting above St. John. Great St. James is close enough to see what boats are bobbing in XMAS Cove. Water Point looks like a stone's throw away. Just awesome.

The photo I posted with this blog is the top of water point, which is my absolutely favorite spot on the entire island. What an incredible place. View the property here: http://stthomasre.com/st-thomas-real-estate/phenomenal-estate-in-desirab...

Now, I don't have to be at one of these wonderful homes to be reminded of why I moved here. I remember that from my own home, as well. But I can confidently state that I NEVER forget why I moved here when I am at one of these special locations, and just getting it out of my mind is impossible.
