Current COVID restrictions on Island

The USVI has COVID restrictions in place at the moment. AirBnB, VRBO, and Hotel stays are not allowed until the Governor removes these restrictions. Right now, they are in place until September 08, but that could potentially be extended. A stay at home order is also in place. Restaurants are open only for carry out food, and bars are closed. Obviously, this is not a "good time" to visit the islands. But, I consider this a good thing. This is typically the slowest time of the year for tourists. We are at the peak of Hurricane Season. And we need to be able to provide a safe and healthy environment by the time tourists return. It is very unfortunate for small businesses who are really struggling thru this strange time in our history, so hopefully local residents can support these businesses and help them make it thru this tough time.
