Dinner on St. John

I absolutely love to go to dinner on St. John. I used to do it all the time. Well, I lived there then, so it was kind of necessary. But seriously, since moving to St. Thomas, I have always loved heading over to Cruz Bay, I just haven't been going over as much lately and I don't know why. It is not only easy to jump on the ferry and head over, but it is also a nice enjoyable and comfortable ride.

So Cara and I will head over there tomorrow night. Ocean Grille is often the choice spot. John, the owner / operator, makes it very welcoming. The food is excellent. I always call ahead to convince Tim and Patty (John's mom and the other owner / operator who also bakes all of the desserts) to join us- at least for a cocktail.

If you haven't been to Ocean Grille (http://vipages.com/St-John/Ocean-Grill.php) yet, you really need to do so. The atmosphere is awesome and people are always enjoying themselves. As I said, the foot is incredible, for both lunch and dinner. Diane the waitress is a lot of fun. Just an overall great place worth your time.

There are many other great options, and I will surely speak about them in the future. I have already spoken about Paul from The Fish Trap (http://www.thefishtrap.com/), who I will also try to visit tomorrow. http://stthomasre.com/st-thomas-virgin-islands-blogs/my-friend-paulie.

Regardless of where you decide to eat, take the time to get off St. Thomas and visit quaint St. John.
