About St. Thomas

The US Virgin Islands consist of four larger islands and about 50 smaller cays. These are located approximately 1100 miles from Miami, FL. Previously owned by Denmark, they were purchased by the United States for $25 Million in 1917. The territory remains under the US flag to this day, making it a very simple transition for either travel or relocation. We live under the US Constitution, and those born here are US citizens. We utilize the US Postal Service and have an area code for telephones just like the States, so it is not too different than moving to another State. Several airlines offer direct flights daily to a multitude of cities.

One of the most appealing qualities of the USVI is the amazing natural environment. We are famous for incredible white sand beaches, azure waters, colorful coral, and an incredible climate. This leads to a multitude of desired activities such as sailing, boating, windsurfing, kitesurfing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, snorkeling, scuba diving, and much more. For those not as active, the amazing beaches offer the best in relaxation nestled under a shady palm tree. It really does not get much better than life in the islands.
